The Origin of Racism in America Searing New Book Exposes Nation's Shameful Racial Imbalances; Proving that the Past HASN'T Been Buried. Meticulously researched and masterfully crafted by Rony Joseph, 'The Origin of Racism in America (and how it still affects us today)' unravels how skin tone compels millions to develop a fierce thirst for power and supremacy; a force still sweeping the nation that most brush under the rug. Joseph exposes it all, while providing a vital education to the black community about their natural rights and civil liberties. For Immediate Release Philadelphia, PA - While the United States presents an image to the world of a united nation where everyone is as free as their neighbor, those on the ground can attest to discord and racial tensions that are as dominant as they were sixty years ago. In his compelling new book, Rony Joseph unravels modern day racism in an exposé' many in power would love to prevent from publication. It's all wrapped up into 'The Origin of Racism in America (and how it still affects us today)'. Synopsis As a society, have we pondered enough the eventual influences which would drive an individual's thirst for power? It is clear that we have - to a certain extent. It has come to the point that we have learned to define power through quantifiable means. Our society has become entirely about what we can get, how much, and how quickly. The reality remains that many people are ultimately driven by the forces of power. Power can be measured in the form of money, an individual's numbers, or even material possessions. These aforementioned factors commonly determine supremacy. A prime example is that in America, there seems to be an unwritten rule of a group believing in the entitlements to ultimate power based on their skin tone.

I read this book expecting some deep history depicting some truths regarding American slavery, the civil war and the author's take on the last 150 years of racism. I was not happy within that context but I was energized by ideas put forth. I love the idea of rallying the citizenry into a real heartfelt Reconciliation Day. I had never heard this concept and think the idea has real merit. I think RJ's take on the Trayvon Martin case was thoughtful and measured. The author puts forth the idea the reality could change if we all moved past what has happened in the past and instead worked on molding fairness into our future. The end result is uplifting and hopeful. This author needs to go on a speaking tour, and soon!!

I agree with some of what he said, but it didn't flow. Hard to follow.
This book offers a fresh perspective on how to use an intelligent strategy to combat the evil and wicked system of racism.
Very interesting book indeed. Helpful for someone new to the topic on racism. I recommend it to anyone interested in knowing more about this topic.
This was one of the very few books I put down. I've even managed to make it through pseudoscientific garbage books, but I didn't even get past the introduction. The author sounds like a very angry black man who isn't really so much interested in facts, as what needs to be done. He refers to the Ferguson Police Department as the "Anti Black Skin Parade;" He doesn't even get the basics of Eric Garner's death correct, because it quickly becomes clear that it does not fit what he is feeling and trying to say. I refused to go any further, as his opinion became clearer the more I read on. There are plenty of other unbiased books available.
Great read.....
Informative
Gives answers to some questions I have had about why racism has such a deep impact on African Americans. Growing up white and poor; I understand discrimination based on economic and geography. But, I see the different opportunities available to me as I grew that were/are not available to the African Americans.
